Not looking a day over 12, Route 66 is actually celebrating it’s 100th year this year. Marketing pro SPENCER ERNST down in Springfield, MO (through which 66 passes) has a lovely celebration of America’s Highway on the In Good Company Podcast. Nice to have a happy subject.
Condolences go out to Pittsburgh’s SHELLY DUFFY ALEXANDER on the loss of her mother. Making it more poignant - today is Shelly’s birthday.
Interesting that Nexstar updated their corporate website yet STILL LISTS the what-was-Tegna stations. The Tegna website says it’s part of Nexstar. Wishful thinking? One would think their attorneys would advise them otherwise. What was Tegna is its own stand-alone entity and word is that situation could last for a year or more. God bless all you Tegna employees….
Speaking of Nexstar, they’ve renamed the Commercial Producer position in Lexington. They now refer to it as Digital Content Strategist. The same job doing the same thing only in Green Bay is listed as Digital Media Support Coordinator.
Almost lost my breakfast reading that a reboot of The Apprentice (via THR) might be on tap starring Don Jr. OMG who the F is making programming decisions?
